Sketchbook Portrait- He Cooked the Fish

This sketch is of the man who cooked the fish (below) that the two fisherman (previous posting) caught.  These three images are based on some photos I had taken in 1999.  The prints I did in 2000, this sketch today.

  2. I'm so glad you can tell it's a rice bowl, I was afraid it might look like a funky dust mask!
    His hands are big but I also exaggerated them. He is a very stout and broad man, I think I was trying to have his fingers express that since there wasn't much showing of his head.
